Fernando Guidi  Fernando is the spine of Vida de Tango, as well as the organiser of the well known Tango Feast which takes place 4 times a year in Devon. He is a dynamic Tango teacher from Argentina. He combines a young, friendly charm with a great understanding of teaching tango, he has more than 16 years of tango experience. From a very early stage in his career he adopted an attitude of developer and researcher about the dance. He extended the same attitude when he started to teach:- to understand a concept and to find the best way to explain it to students, coming up with a simple, clear and unique way of teaching. His teaching and performing has taken him to many places: Argentina, Spain, France, Germany, Holland, Croatia, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Greece, Canada, USA and all around England.  In his 20's Fernando performed and toured in shows El Tango Baila su Historia" and "Esa diablura el Tango" around Argentina, he also acted in many plays at the Festival de Teatro Regional de la provincia de Buenos Aires. His television and media work include appearances in advertisement in Television Chanal 7 and in the movie “De guerreras y cautivas” in Argentina. In 2003 he worked together with Carlton TV in Devon on the show "Dance in the South West". Fernando is also working with the BBC on the programme "Strictly Dance Fever”. Fernando teaches weekly in Exeter as well as teaching workshops and performing all over UK and abroad. Visit his website Lucy Wishart Lucy has been teaching tango in Preston, Lancashire and the surrounding areas for over 13 years, prior to this she spent 3 years teaching in Manchester and was the co-founder of Tango Manchester.  Lucy is also the organiser of the Glaramara event which has now been running for the past 5 years, she was also the organiser of the Blackpool Tango events which took place in the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom.  Aswell as organising large events Lucy runs a very successful monthly tea dance once a month in Leyland, Preston. Lucy has studied tango with many wonderful teachers but her main influences were Sebastian Arce & Mariana Montes, Dana Frigoli, Daniela Pucci & Luis Bianchi and Fabian Salas.  Prior to teaching Tango, Lucy taught salsa and before this studied ballroom and latin american dancing.  Lucy has a relaxed and fun teaching style which encourages people to learn in a relaxed environment.  Her teaching concentrates both on a fluid relaxed technique and on dance movements most suitable for the social dance floor.   Lucy is really looking forward to teaming up with Fernando to teach the workshops for Glaramara 2020.
